I believe!

The Chinese housekeeper accepted Christ on a Wednesday in December. By that Friday, she had led three other people to the Lord! That weekend she headed home to her village to tell her family and anyone else who would listen about the love of Christ. Unlike some who require a string of witnesses over a long period of time before accepting Christ, the housekeeper had accepted Christ five minutes after first hearing of His love.

When she exclaimed, “I believe, I believe, I believe,” the one who was sharing the good news was so surprised that he asked if she had heard the story of salvation previously.

“No,” she insisted. She explained that as she had gazed at the baby in a manger scene, she had already sensed that there was something very special about the child. When someone told her the story of Jesus’ saving love, she immediately recognized it as truth and believed.
